"Trance 'N Dance" is a museum guide to decoding the universal language of music, to the tune of Patti Smith, Henri Rousseau, Jimi Hendrix, and artifacts from all cultures. This annotated narrative is a metaphysical guidebook to another plane, a simple song of love on repeat.

Diana H. Chu is an illustrator / zinester based in Milwaukee, WI who experiments with color, collage, and poetry; she is the recipient of the 2019 Cupcake Award microgrant.

Patti Lee Smith is a self-professed light packer and has been known to wear brown socks embroidered with small, golden bees. If she tells you to piss in a pot, boy be darned if you don’t piss in that pot.
