Description

It's 8:00 in the morning and I found a bright green feather on the floor.

This comic begins with the utilitarian act of sweeping which unlocks the melancholy poetry of movement and dance. Keren Katz' singular artistic voice brought to bear on the complications of having a body, its usefulness, and how art can salve the soul.

Keren Katz works in a bookstore in Tel Aviv - Yafo. She collects books, shrinks books, publishes books, illustrates books and makes comics. Her favorite subject to write about is unrequited love in architecturally unsound spaces and stilt walking.

Allongé is a term in classical ballet referring to the extension of the limbs and gaze beyond the position before transitioning on to the next. The classical technique was designed to make the dancer appear longer, ethereal, untouchable and unhuman.
